Meghan Schardt (Santangelo) received her BFA while on scholarship at New World School of the Arts in her hometown of Miami, Florida. While in Florida she performed works by Reginald Yates, Hannah Kahn, Gerald Ebitz, Peter London, Doris Humphrey's 'Day on Earth', and with The Miami Repertoire Ballet Company, Ballet Randolph and Freddick Bratcher and Company. Upon moving to New York in 1995 she has had the amazing fortune to study with her mentor Sara Neece and perform works by and with Reginald Yates, Jenny Noda, Jenn Frank and Company, Marjon Van Grunsven's Memento (rehearsal director), Marissa Beatty's Overall Productions, Axis Dance, Maryanne Chaney, and Peter Mantia. She recently had the pleasure of being a guest artist with Hawaii Ballet Theatres production of the Nutcracker and is currently working with Bryon Carr's LightCurve Dance and Mixed Media. Meghan is a founding member of Octavia Cup Dance Theatre.
